STABILO acrylic markers

Unlimited creative possibilities on many surfaces

What are acrylic markers?

Acrylic markers are markers with a water-based, pigmented ink. This ink is lightfast, waterproof and opaque and is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces such as stone, wood, paper, canvas, plastic, ceramic, tile, porcelain or metal.

Can I mix acrylic colours?

Yes, the STABILO FREE Acrylic marker colours can be mixed together before drying on the respective surface. They can also be painted with water until dry.

What do I have to pay attention to when using:

Before use, the closed acrylic marker must be shaken for at least 30 seconds. Then the cap is removed (do not twist!) and the tip is pressed ("pumped") several times on a piece of paper until it is filled with ink. Acrylic Markers should not be left open without the cap for more than 10 minutes. When not in use, acrylic markers should be stored horizontally/lying down and at room temperature.

Frequently asked questions:

With acrylic markers, you can paint, write and express yourself with colours on a variety of surfaces such as stone, wood, paper, canvas, plastic, ceramic, tile, porcelain or metal. Acrylic markers are waterproof and weatherproof after drying and are therefore also suitable for outdoor use.
Permanent markers generally contain solvent-based dye ink, while acrylic pens contain water-based pigment inks. Thanks to their pigment ink, acrylic markers are matt-covering, lightfast and water-resistant and can be painted over with other colours once they have dried. Permanent markers, on the other hand, are translucent, penetrate paper relatively strongly, but dry very quickly.
